Biovires Lab

Biological Innovation with Real Impact

At Biovires Lab, we research and develop innovative bioinputs that combine the power of microorganisms with optimized formulations . Our focus is on sustainable solutions that protect crops and strengthen their growth naturally .

We are developing innovative biological solutions based on microorganisms with endophytic and systemic action, offering a unique approach in the bioinputs market. Our Research and Development (R&D) team works on optimizing bioinputs that not only control pests naturally, but also strengthen crops from within , differentiating us from conventional biocontrol solutions that act only by contact.

Currently, we have a development in the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) phase with a wettable powder (WP) formulation, which gives us key advantages in stability, shelf life and logistics , overcoming the limitations of other liquid or contact bioinputs. Through laboratory studies, field tests and strategic alliances, we seek to validate its performance and ensure its effectiveness in different crops and production conditions.

What makes us different

Endophytic and Systemic Action: Unlike other biological products, our microorganisms colonize plant tissues, providing continuous protection from within the crop , reducing the need for repeated applications.

Biocontrol and Biostimulation in a Single Product : While most bioinsecticides focus solely on pest control, our approach combines insect protection and strengthening of plant growth, maximizing the return for the producer.

Wettable Powder (WP) Formulation: Our WP technology ensures greater stability and ease of application, overcoming the storage and shelf life challenges of liquid or granular formulations.

Sustainability and Waste Reduction : By integrating biocontrol and biostimulation into a single product, we help producers reduce chemical applications , decreasing the waste load on crops and soils.

Our Research Areas

📌 Field Trials in Key Crops: We evaluate the performance of our technology in various crops and agroclimatic conditions, comparing its effectiveness with existing biological and chemical products.

📌 Compatibility and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) : We study the integration of our solution into integrated control strategies, ensuring its effectiveness together with other bioinputs and agricultural practices.

📌 Production and Formulation Optimization: We seek to improve production efficiency and product stability for commercial scalability, ensuring competitive costs and ease of adoption by the producer.

📌 Strategic Alliances for Innovation : We partner with universities, biotechnology centers and companies to continue advancing in the development and validation of our technology.
